Only the Best
We marinate and grill all of our fillings in-house with a proprietary blend of up to 30 hand-ground spices and flavors. All of our meats are certified halal and our chicken is antibiotic and hormone free.
We Do Veg Good
Vegetarians rejoice! We offer a variety of veggie options ranging from pure vegetarian to egg-filled choices. Our parathas are made with butter, but vegans can ask for the roasted whole wheat roti.
Kati Rolls come hot and ready-to-eat on the go, full of meats, fresh cheese and savory Indian spices. Oh, and we've even got satisfying vegetarian choices too.
Unda Roll
The simplest roll on the menu, the Unda Roll has the distinction of being both breakfast and lunch rolled up into one easy, portable package. Great for when you’re traveling by cycle riksha or bullock cart. This roll is very popular in Calcutta.
Aloo Masala Roll
Author A A Milne once commented, “What I say is that, if a fellow really likes potatoes, he must be a pretty decent sort of fellow.” We couldn’t agree more. The Aloo Masala roll is just that, spiced tender fried potatoes and not much else. Delicious and decent.
Unda Aloo
Take two good ideas and put them together to create one super good idea. The Unda Aloo roll is the vegetarian version of a “meat and potato” dish. Filling and fulfilling, the roll is rumored to have been the alleged inspiration for The Snuggie®
Achari Paneer
Meet the Big Cheese of the TKRC menu. Paneer is a fresh, unaged, firm farmers cheese common to India. Its creamy flavor is enhanced with tangy Indian pickling spices (achar) and then barbecued to infuseflavors. Laced with grilled green peppers and tomatoes, this roll is vegetarian and our second most popular roll.
Chana Masala
Chickpeas cooked to spicy perfection is a mainstay in Northern Indian cuisine. The Chana masala roll is the portable version of this popular dish. Enhanced with lime cilantro chutney and pickled onions, this roll was created in 2010 for our veg-friendly diners.
Unda Beef
Add in an egg to our classic Beef Tikka roll, and you are on your way to a very satisfying roll full of protein and bold flavors. Your mouth and belly will thank you!
Mixed Veggie Roll
Did you know that 1 in 10 Americans follow a vegetarian-inclined diet? TKRC added the Mixed Veggie Roll late in 2011 to expand our vegetarian repertoire. It’s a slightly sweet and spicy traditional Bengali veggie croquette made with super healthy beets, peanuts, raisins, carrots and potatoes.
Chicken Tikka
Hands down, the Chicken Tikka roll is TKRC”s most popular roll. Made with antibiotic and hormone free, halal chicken, the Chicken Tikka Roll is part of our original menu.
Unda Chicken
What came first, the chicken or the egg? In this classic roll, it doesn’t really matter as barbecued hormone and antibiotic-free, halal chicken is wrapped with griddled, beaten eggs. The result is a warm egg-plosion of texture and flavor in your mouth.
Beef Tikka
Our Beef Tikka roll satisfies your craving for beef with huge cubes of barbecued, halal top round accented with our signature lime cilantro chutney and pickled red onions.
Unda Shami
The Unda Shami is another way to enjoy one of India’s favorite snack foods, the Shami Kabab. The kabab’s flavor is enhanced with a warm blanket of eggs. Consider it the perfect comfort food for your spicy palette.
Shrimp Masala Roll
Developed by celebrity Chef Angelo Sosa of Top Chef Masters fame, the shrimp masala roll is inspired by the coastal flavors of India with barbecued Tiger shrimp marinated in coconut, warm spices and tangy flavors.
Shami Kabab
Legend has it that the lamb-based Shami Kabab was created for a toothless Nawab of India by his highly skilled Moghul chef. Our halal, minced lamb kabab is blended with chickpeas and eggs and cooked to a crispy patty. This is a roll that is fit for a king … and revered amongst dentists city-wide.
Lime Cilantro Chutney and Pickled Onions
All of TKRC rolls are enhanced with our signature lime-cilantro chutney, a medley of sauteed, pickled and fresh onions and a sprinkling of our own Chat Masala spice. We make the chutney fresh every day squeezing the limes and chopping the cilantro by hand.
Roti or Paratha?
Kati rolls are traditionally served in a griddled, layered flatbread called a paratha. For a lighter, still flavorful version, ask for the whole wheat, roasted roti.
